Hornell and Geneseo, N.Y. — Cleeman Realty Group has brokered the sale of a 453,350-square-foot, grocery-anchored retail portfolio located in upstate New York. The portfolio includes Hornell Plaza, a 253,603-square-foot shopping center located in Hornell, and Genesee Valley Shopping Center, a 199,747-square-foot retail property in Geneseo.
Hornell Plaza is dual-anchored by Wegmans Food Markets and Walmart, while Genesee Valley Shopping Center is anchored by Wegmans and features a complementary mix of retailers including Tractor Supply, T.J. Maxx, Harbor Freight Tools, Five Below and Dollar Tree. Wegmans has maintained a presence at both properties since the 1990s, with recent long-term lease extensions at each location.
